Practice Observation Policy
The New Prague Junior Olympic Volleyball Association is committed to providing a sports environment that fosters player development, team development, good sportsmanship, and fair and appropriate competition.
In the past, we have had complaints from our coaching staff regarding parents observing practice. Parent's presence at practice could have a profound (negative) impact on a player and their respective coach's ability to properly coach. While we do not want to discourage parents form observing practice, we do ask for your cooperation by supporting the following requests pertaining to practice observation:
- Please refrain from directing comments to a player or coach. This applies to your own daughter or any other player.
- Please do not critique any player during practices this is the coach's responsibility.
- Please refrain from cheering or clapping during practice. This is a distraction to the player(s) and coaches.
- Walking the track during practice is perfectly acceptable.
If these requests are not adhered to, we will have no other choice, but to CLOSE practices to ALL spectators.
