MISSION
Our mission is to provide all athletes with the skills and knowledge of volleyball needed to improve and grow as an individual and as a team at a competitive level.
EXPECTATIONS
Players are expected to perform consistently, demonstrate positive attitudes, attend ALL practices (even if injured), and possess a willingness to learn by giving their best effort at each practice and tournament. The Club Directors and coaches are here to promote leadership, cooperation, team skills, to help athletes deal with accomplishments and disappointments, and to improve athletes' self-confidence and self-esteem.
ATTENDANCE
Players are expected to attend ALL practices and tournament matches. If for some reason you cannot attend a practice or match you must notify your team coach as soon as possible. Playtime will be affected for players who are repeatedly absent from practice and/or tournament matches. Excessive absenteeism affects the entire team as each player has a specific role on the team. Teams are learning rotations that require ALL players present. Please respect your fellow team members by attending each and every practice and match.
New Prague JO League Play Attendance Policy:
1. Execused Absence = family, church, illness, school function (dance)
2. Unexecused Absence = haircuts, homework, shopping, jobs, etc.
-Three unexcused absences=Club Directors will inform player their season has ended.
3. Loss of tournament time due to absence(s)
-Once for upcoming tournament = sit out set
-Twice for upcoming tournament = sit out match
